Hi there 👋

🗺️ I love diving into code and spatial data, which is why I'm a big enthusiast for geospatial open-source — especially GRASS, where I've been on the Project Steering Committee since November 2024

💼 Since I work part-time as a Publication Database Architect at the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre (ČÚZK), I'm also greatly interested in spatial data infrastructure, vector tiles, and ETL pipelines

🎓 In my limited free time, I work on my doctoral thesis on ETL-based vector tile infrastructure for processing and publishing Czech cadastral data at CTU in Prague (hopefully it will be finished someday ;))

🌐 I founded the MapGeeks initiative, where our first contribution was a popular QGIS plugin for displaying Czech digital technical map data: JVF DTM Plugin

🦛🦛 Right now, I'm a full-time mom of two little hippos — my son 👦 and my daughter 👧
