Hi, I'm Halema 👋

DevOps / DevSecOps engineer based in Nairobi, Kenya. Currently learning in public — building the kind of projects I want to work on.

What I focus on: Linux, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and the security layer that runs across all of them.

🛠️ What I'm building

  • 📦 notes-api — Full-stack containerized app: Flask + Postgres + Nginx. Ships with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), published image on GHCR, and Kubernetes manifests. My main hands-on project.
  • 📓 devops-hale — Structured DevOps study notes. Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, Linux, cloud.
  • 🛡️ cybersec-hale — Cybersecurity fundamentals. OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, SIEM, offensive + defensive.
