Keyboard Only

In PC, the game is passable with keyboard input only, using the arrow keys for moving with your right hand and the Z, X, and Space keys for actions with your left hand. Although the game is best experienced in PC by using...

Keyboard + Mouse

In PC the game is best expedienced by using keyboard + mouse. Use WASD keys for moving, Space to interact, mouse to aim, and mouse buttons for the main player abilities.

On most laptops, keypresses are ignored while the touchpad is being used, so you cannot play Threadbare with the touchpad on such laptops.

Joypad

Threadbare is primarily tested with Xbox-style joypads. It should work with any joypad with similar buttons.

Touch

Mobile touch is still not supported. Follow https://github.com/endlessm/threadbare/issues/806
