Robotics & systems software engineer — autonomy, edge AI, and ML data infrastructure
I'm a robotics and systems software engineer working across autonomy, edge AI, and the ML data infrastructure that supports them. I'm currently a Software Infrastructure Engineer Intern on NVIDIA's Autonomous Vehicles Verification & Validation team — building data-governance tooling and agentic data-mining pipelines — while finishing my M.S. in Computer Science (Intelligent Robotics) at USC (Dec 2026). Before that: B.S. in Physics/Astrophysics with a CS minor at Carnegie Mellon.
I like running heavy compute on small machines — SLAM and odometry on Jetson-class hardware, containerized ROS stacks orchestrated with K3s, on-device LLM inference — and building the automation around it: CI pipelines, test frameworks, and agent loops that keep systems reliable with less manual effort. As Senior Robotics Software Engineer on USC's RoboSub AUV team, I own motion planning, sensor fusion, and the software platform for a 6-DOF underwater vehicle.
- Benchmarked real-time Direct LiDAR-Inertial Odometry on an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, demonstrating viability for high-rate, low-memory localization and mapping on autonomous vehicles.
- Profiled CPU load, core utilization, memory footprint, and computation time to isolate a key bottleneck in the Generalized ICP step.
- Building deep-learning models from scratch, daily, to sharpen fundamentals.
