Personal Code of Ethics and Scope of Responsibility:

  • I assume responsibility for ethically sourcing training data.
    • If I use publicly available data (example: dataset from UCI Machine Learning Repository or a model from Huggingface), I will cite the author of the dataset and provide a link to its usage license.
    • If I compile the training data myself, I will notify the sources--people or organizations--as to the specific data I intend to collect, and I will place that notification in a prominent location.
