Promote book info has too much info

So I guess the old Moving to PROD is the new Promote recipe, which is fine except I do not know / understand if anything is needed from me here:

I know it is wrapped by default, but honestly I don't need to know what's under the hood: if it is mandatory then I have no choice, just make it happen. And tbh the "optional" part does not feel very optional to me either.

I would honestly just have the promotion happen as soon as I hit Promote book, this added step is just noise.

I'm quite shocked by the idea of not dealing with details when promoting a book to production, since in my view dealing with details is definitely what the CMS editor must do to ensure good catalog quality.

Mandatory changes are important to be aware of because they can indicate a Zimfarm misconfiguration or a scraper bug.

Optional changes requires the CMS editor decision to do that change because there are valid reasons to both choices.

I feel like we should discuss this live with @Popolechien and @kelson42 to clarify.

AFAIK, we deal here with vocabulary problems:

• The term " Promote" is questionable and @Popolechien seems as well unsure about what is meant here. I believe "Publish" is the proper verb.
• Then here we should maybe move from "change needed" by "action required". Only points which require action from publisher should be listed and AFAP what and how should be explicit.

Yeah I think we should discuss it live, as different users/usage certainly impact the level of info needed or what we can make of it.

But I'm very ok with "promote", it does make a lot of sense
