Configuration on the new Changes UI to make it lazy-load

What feature do you want to see added?

After an update our Jenkins build pages started to be very slow and doing git bisect pointed to #3923

We use a 2-core machine to run Jenkins and submit all the actual tests to a compute farm and keep the controller action very minimal and on the weekly jobs there can be couple hundreds of commits in between runs and after the changes UI more detail about those are being pulled eagerly.

If there was an option to keep it light that would be great

I'm unable to duplicate the issue. Can you provide more details about your configuration so that I can duplicate it?

Steps that I took while trying to duplicate the issue:

1. Download and unpack gh-git-3992.zip
2. Change to the gh-git-3992 directory
3. Run the README file with bash ./README
4. Login to Jenkins with my Linux username ('mwaite') and the password 'p-' + username ('p-mwaite')
5. Open the freestyle-with-git-history job and see that job page opens quickly as expected
6. Open build 1 of the freestyle-with-git-history job /job/freestyle-with-git-history/1/ and confirm that it opens quickly
7. Run a build of the freestyle-with-git-history job and confirm that the Changes page /job/freestyle-with-git-history/changes opens quickly and shows 200 changes for each build
8. Open an individual build page and confirm that its Changes page also opens quickly and shows 200 changes for each build
