Debug perspective switches when a key or button is pressed

Under Window ; Perspective ; Customize Perspective
Choose which items to display in the Debug Session
Click on Apply and Close
Under Window ; Perspective ; Save Perspective as ; Name: [New_Debug_Config]
Close the Debug session and reopen it
Under Window ; Perspective ; Open Perspective ; Other
Click on New_Debug_Config and tap F5
Found Result

The new perspective recently created is switched to the default Debug
configuration

The new debug perspective should remain when a key or button is pressed

1. Please can you provide exact steps to reproduce, e.g. "Choose which items to display" is fully unclear. It seem to be related to "F5" later?
2. Whait does this mean: "Close the Debug session and reopen it", do you mean "Debug Perspective" by "Debug Session"?
3. Please avoid writing bug descriptio in huge bold font

If I understand correctly, you modify the Debug perspective, save it to a different name, and then you expect when something opens "the Debug perspective" it will open your specially-configured perspective. But that's not how it works, there is only one Debug perspective and that is the one that's opened, You can save your changes to the Debug perspective to overwrite the definition, and then even when the Debug perspective is closed and opened again, it will open with your configured changes.

So probably this is a case of mistaken expectations...
