Google sitemaps.xml not available on child sites

When sitemaps.xml.gz is activated, it is only available on PloneSiteRoot. It would be nice if every child site generate its own sitemap.xml for optimizing google search results.

plone.app.layout.sitemap registers sitemap.xml.gz for INavigationRoot objects and (looking at the code) should only list subobjects if invoked on portal/subsite/sitemap.xml.gz

since INavigationRoot is used by plone users w/o lineage too, default plone should handle this usecase properly.
