Add a feature allowing teachers to associate automated actions to some of their courses.
Start by adding an "Automation" section at the bottom of the course reporting screen. There should at least be two button in there ("Course opens now" and "Course ends now"). These 2 buttons would work in base-course or in session-course context, and allow the teacher to trigger related events.
The events are of the following types:
- make content visible (select several resources in the course that are invisible and now become visible to students - only for opening the course)
- send survey invitation (of a selected survey inside the course)
- send certificates to students (of a selected gradebook/assessment - only for closing the course)
- change course visibility (choose destination visibility)
- make content invisible (of selected resources in the course - only for closing the course)
These are basic actions, but by making the basis of this feature, we allow the teacher, in general, to better prepare their courses in advance.
