What happened?

Dell Pro Max 18 Plus, BIOS updated to latest version 3.1.1. Debian 11 machine (which has been stable for years on another laptop) has issues. Yocto build crashes, so does stress-ng:

$ stress-ng \
  --cpu 4 \
  --vm 4 \

However, removing the AC adapter makes everything stable again.

How can we reproduce this?

Possibly a Dell Pro Max machine is required.

Did you upload all of your necessary log files, screenshots, etc.?
